on the interest of using powershell core on Linux ?

Hello,

In my work, among other things, I do quite a lot of python scripting intended for client computers running on windows. As they're windows based, I also have to use some powershell scripts as powershell is the most suitable scripting langage for assessing windows system stuff (firewall rules, drivers...).

I know that powershell core is crossplatform and can be used as an alternative shell or for scripting on Linux. I was wondering if anyone is using powershell core (instead or in completion with bash for example) ? I know most of the usual bash CLI commands but have not yet be in the need to write scripts for linux systems. At first glance I'd even say I find less "structured/organized" bash scripting than powershell scripting. If powershell can seem a bit tedious, when used to its syntax, it has the advantage to be quite regular/structured in its syntax and offers the object oriented language paradigm. (I guess a powershell script would appear less obscure than the same bash script for me, but maybe I am biased because I know better powershell than bash scripting). My question is not intended to be a MS vs Linux post, but I'm wondering if anyone is using powershell core for scripting on linux and find some benefits with it? For example, being better used to powershell, it seems to me that it might be easier to script in powershell than having to learn bash scripting for rare needs on linux systems.
