Hello,
My system is debian SID. I currently use Gnome.
I've been running a game (Black desert online) in idle mode (minimized) and I experienced the following strange behavior:
- When my monitor is constantly on (screen blank: Never), the game is running normally in minimized mode (I minimize it to save resources on my system).
- As soon as I turn the screen off (e.g. after 10 minutes of inactivity), the game / software either crashes or gets frozen (unresponsive, so I can't even activate the window again).
What can cause this issue? Does the process get suspended / killed for any reason (in the log files I couldn't find anything) ? Is there any workaround / solution?
