Hi,
I have a HP Microserver Gen 10 (AMD Opteron(tm) X3421 APU) freshly installed with Debian bookworm (6.1.0-21-amd64 /Debian 6.1.90-1 (2024-05-03) x86_64) with 4x WD RED SATA 6TB Disks and one WD Blue 250GB SATA SSD
I am entirely unable to interact with the four disks in the front bays, however I can see the disk I'm booting from on the discrete SATA port.
Is there something I'm doing wrong here?
I have verified as far as I can that the disks are JBOD, healthy (SMART) and usable in TrueNAS, however in Linux I'm unable to list them or interact with them at all.
Grateful for any advice.
M.

I am entirely unable to interact with the four disks in the front bays, however I can see the disk I'm booting from on the discrete SATA port.
- - I have put them in JBOD in the controller:
(01:00.0 SATA controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88SE9230 PCIe 2.0 x2 4-port SATA 6 Gb/s RAID Controller (rev 11)
- I see all the disks in BIOS and in the F11 "Boot menu"
- Disks accessible without fault when using TrueNAS (BSD)
