Hello,
I am using kate on debian bookworm xfce. I had problems with kate's dark mode, because the icons did not change to a lighter version over the dark background, so they were invisible, but found info online on how to fix this (had to install some kde themes).
The problem is though that the Git icon did not change to a lighter version to be visible over the dark background, so it is barely visible. This problem is well documented and a current bug in Kate.
I know this is not really a functionality problem, and have been using kate for weeks now with just the git icon dark. But it got me thinking, maybe if I knew the directory or where is the image that Kate is using for the git icon, I could replace the source image for one color red and make things work.
Does anyone know where kate stores its own program's icons?
Things I already did:
- looked into the theme's icons (no git icon)
