How to avoid apt to suggest removal of all kernels older than the latest stable one?

Hello,

please how can i tell Linux Debian 11 not to suggest removal of a kernel that is one version older than the latest stable kernel?
This removal suggestion happens during "sudo apt update" saying "The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required".
Yet, i would like to keep newly installed latest stable + one version older when running "sudo apt autoremove".

One can manually mark packages: "sudo apt-mark manual package-name"
But that is not what I am asking, i wanted this to be automatic so i do not need to attend to this every time new kernel is released.
