[Software] wrong timezone with Firefox-esr

hey,

my problem is a wrong timezone in Firefox-esr.

I'm running Debian 11 and Firefox-esr 115.13 + Firefox standard release 128.0. Both versions have the same value of privacy.resistFingerprinting= false. Both have Settings > General > Language > Use your operating system settings for “French (France)” to format dates, times, numbers, and measurements.

Here are some relevant elements:

1- about my system:

Code:

~$ en timedatectl Local time: Tue 2024-07-16 11:46:06 CEST Universal time: Tue 2024-07-16 09:46:06 UTC RTC time: Tue 2024-07-16 09:46:06 Time zone: Europe/Paris (CEST, +0200)System clock synchronized: yes NTP service: active RTC in local TZ: no
2- about both Firefox:

Web Developer Tools > Console

2.1 Firefox 128.0:

Code:

Date() > "Tue Jul 16 2024 11:50:35 GMT+0200 (heure d’été d’Europe centrale)"
2.2 Firefox-esr:

Code:

Date() > "Tue Jul 16 2024 09:53:10 GMT+0000 (temps universel coordonné)"
3- Firefox-esr + Settings (or about:config):

Code:

Date() > "Tue Jul 16 2024 11:50:35 GMT+0200 (heure d’été d’Europe centrale)"
which is correct.

4- If I open Firefox-esr with a new profile TimeZone is correct. I tried to find what was wrong with this profile without success. Then I opened Firefox 128 with the profile of Firefox-esr which is supposed to have a problem, then TimeZone was correct.

Since my profile is OK with Firefox 128 but doesn't work with Firefox-esr, can I say that the problem isn't with this profile but with Firefox-esr? What else can I test?
