I wanted to create a user experience similar to that of deepin by downloading cinnamon via apt on my debian install without any previous desktop managers (I had startx and openbox for graphical applications). Any help would be appreciated!! I don’t mind just going back to openbox but optimally, I would love to completely undo the changes done by cinnamon.![Mr. Green ]()
- The gnu grub screen was altered,
there were dozens of new startup processes and services at boot,
startx opened up to “failed to load session “cinnamon”” without a cursor.
Any help would be appreciated!! I don’t mind just going back to openbox but optimally, I would love to completely undo the changes done by cinnamon.
