I am the owner of the UNOFFICIAL Debian Community discord server. Early yesterday morning, we had a rogue administrator ban all 1100 of our users without any warning. All of those bans have been cleared up and we had significant help from the Gentoo & Arch discords to spread awareness of our server's restoration, on top of significant support from the local subreddit. If you were a user of this community, our Discord invite is still the same at http://discord.gg/debian and we hope to have you back.
We are taking steps to establish more nuke-proofing measures as well as also open up more transparency about future moderation actions going forward, which will be talked about in more detail over in our announcement channel!

We currently have implemented bot infrastructure that will automatically kick brand new Discord accounts (with an age creation less than three days old). If you are trying to join our discord with a brand new account, we are sorry to inform you of this as it is sadly a security measure to help with dealing with trolls.
