I made a post about having trouble setting up a new disk drive in my system. That has since been resolved and now have a new issue that I have not been able to figure the solution to. The disk is 1 TB in size but as you see below I can only use 7.6 GB of it.
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sdb 7.6G 360K 7.2G 1% /LinuxNonAppFiles
When I run parted and use the print command I get the following info which leads me to believe that I should be able to use more than 7.6GB.
Number Start End Size File system Flags
1 0.00B 2000GB 2000GB ext4
I have been reading on how to resize the partition but from what I have read online I feel the information from parted says I should not have to resize it. What am i missing?
