I just tried to register to this forum using a Gmail account, but the verification email containing the all-important link was never received. Because I had this problem on another phpBB forum, I tried again using a different username and a Thunderbird 'mailfence' account and the verification email appeared almost instantly.
On my other forum account, I was able to verify that Gmail, Yahoo, and my university (email server unknown) account all have blocked emails from that forum (and presumably from this one as well). I suspect this problem is preventing many others from joining, as they probably don't have access to off-brand email apps.
Can someone take a look at this?
