[Testing - Trixie] Why not revert to the penultimate testing version instead of removing & nothing ?

Why not revert to 0.8.10-1 , if 0.9.0-1 has issue(s) , instead of removing & nothing ?
To avoid to manually downloading then installing the stable or unstable .deb .
