Hi,
I bought a Verbatim external bluray unit that does its job on Windows, but crashes (seg fault) on Debian, so it is a software issue.
For both Debian & Windows, I did the instructions from here: https://vlc-bluray.whoknowsmy.name/
I only needed to copy the KEYDB.cfg file, libaacs was already installed.
Another info:
- the system automatically mount the bluray disc, in this case, I have to unmount the disk in order for VLC to try to play it (and crash). If the disc is mounted, then I use "Open directory..." and go to the mount location, but in this case the CPU goes to 100% and seems to enter an infinite loop (the same as if I try to play the disk while mounted.
- I have Java installed, but maybe it's not configured, because when I try to play with menus, I get a warning that Java is not installed and playback will be done without menus
Please help.
