A recent kernel (6.12.6-1) or NVIDIA driver update has broke (X11) functionality of my external monitor via the HDMI connection. After the update, I can no longer configure the screens and the display is automatically mirrored. If I revert to a previously saved kernel (6.10.4-1), the monitor issue is gone.
I am not sure if the culprit is the kernel itself or the latest 535 NVIDIA driver used to help build it (I suspect it is the driver). If it helps find the bug, the bug occurs using an RTX 4090 (notebook).
