I had a problem with Firefox's profile manager: I couldn't open the profile's root directory using the “Open Directory” button, and if I tried I got this warning: “Command not found”. I queried the web about this problem and finally managed to solve it: Xfce > Settings > Default Applications > inode/directory was set to “Archive manager” instead of “File manager”.
My problem is that I may have reported a bug wrongly because this parameter was probably “Set by” (I'm translating from French so I'm not sure if that's the right expression) and not “Default”, but since I've lost the original setting, I don't know, but my other laptop with (Debian11/Xfce) is set up like this: Set by .... File manager
The only thing I know for sure: I never touched this parameter, which I didn't know about, but if there's another way to change it, I could have done it myself without knowing. Then it wouldn't be a bug and my bug report would be wrong. I'm not sure what to do about it.
