Preparing To Upgrade From Buster to Bookworm

I am preparing to upgrade from Debian 10 to Debian 12. My first thought was that I should do a complete install from scratch. But I came across an article in linuxpatch.com which provides a list of commands for achieving this. The reference is:
upgrade-debian-10-to-debian-12

So I wonder if anyone has used the scheme, following the 7 commands for upgrade 10-> 11 and another 7 for upgrade 11->12?

Any comments most welcome.
