CS2 freezes

I run Debian Stable and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.

CS:GO used to run without any issues on my system, CS2 doesn't. 2 issues:

- it starts in window, although I set fullscreen in the settings
- as soon as I shoot, the game freezes.

Any advice how I can find the cause of the problem and how I can fix it?
